Season: August 30 - first week in October depending on Grade level

FEE   $40   includes jersey (to be returned at the end of the season)

Parents will provide players with helmet*, pants/pads, shoulder pads, clip-on mouth guard and non- metal athletic shoes.

*Helmets must be NOCSAE (National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment) approved.  Parents can find this information on the outside of the back of the helmet.  Typically it is a raised seal of the NOCSAE symbol, but it may also be some type of permanent sticker.

                                                                                              

In 2009, after many years as a volunteer program, the youth football program approached Farmington Community Education for sponsorship.  Community Education is proud to help continue this program that gives youth an opportunity to learn about football, sportsmanship, and team work while having fun. We look forward to working with volunteers, parents and players to provide a memorable, safe and instructive season.

Youth will be grouped into 3 leagues, A-grades 1-2,  B-grades 3-4  C-grades 5-6

Parents and Players will be required to sign a Code of Conduct and Participant Waiver form which is online to be printed, read, signed and returned to coach. The coach will also hand out and review the Code of Conduct. Practice and Game schedule will be handed out the first night of practice by the coach.   • Online registration opens - July 1
  • In person registration -July 14 - 5:30pm-8:00pm at Meadowview Elementary Gyms
  • Registration deadline - August 13, 2010. A $20 late fee will be added to registrations received after the August 13 deadline date.  Those registering after August 13, 2010 will need to call the CE main office. To facilitate time for team assignment and communication with coaches, CE office and parents, those registering on or after August 13, will begin practice one business day after registration is completed.  FYFBL Coordinators will determine if there is room for late registrants on teams and will inform CE of the decision to add additional players to team rosters. 
  • New this year - players must provide their own pants and pad sets. Used pants and pads will be available for sale at registration night for $5/pair.
  • Youth Football Night - Friday, Sept. 10. Players, wearing their team jersey, will receive FREE admission to the FHS Varsity Football game. Players must be accompanied by an adult. Adults must pay regular game admission fee.
  • Photo nights -Sept. 13 - 16. Coaches will provide team photo schedules at parent meeting
