Middle School Sports
ABOUT MIDDLE SCHOOL SPORTS
Our Middle School Sports program offers two great levels of play: Interscholastic, where students compete with other schools, and Intramural, where the focus is on fun, skills, and teamwork. Whether your athlete wants to challenge themselves or simply play for enjoyment, we’ve got an option to fit.
Once teams are determined and games/matches begin, the coaches are tasked to try and allow equal playing time for the participants.
INTRAMURAL SPORTS
For athletes who want to play, learn, and have fun
Grades 6–8 | Boys & Girls
Intramural sports focus on learning the fundamentals, improving coordination, and having a great time with friends in a low-pressure setting. It’s a great option for students who are new to sports or want to stay active without the travel or competitive schedule. Coaches emphasize teamwork, effort, and personal growth in every session.

INTERSCHOLASTIC SPORTS
For athletes ready to compete and grow
Grades 6–8 | Boys & Girls
Interscholastic sports give middle school students the opportunity to experience the excitement of competition against other schools. Athletes practice several times a week, build skills through structured coaching, and participate in games or meets against other schools in the area. Along the way, they’ll gain confidence, sportsmanship, and friendships that last long after the season ends.
Our teams participate in the Big Suburban Conference (BSC) and compete against teams from Bloomington, Burnsville, Faribault, Lakeville, New Prague, Northfield, Owatonna, and Prior Lake.
