WHAT IS TIGERS SERVE?

Tigers SERVE is a volunteer service program that promotes a culture of service, impacting our community by connecting high school students to meaningful volunteer experiences that utilize their interests, skills, and strengths- helping them make a difference in their community today while building valuable experience for the future. 

This group is non-committal - no required meetings. Everything is optional!

You volunteer when YOU want to, as much as YOU want!

WHY IT MATTERS TO STUDENTS

Build your story, not just your hours. As you serve, you’ll log your experiences and create a service resume that stands out for college applications, scholarships, and future jobs.

Earn recognition while you serve. High school students can qualify for the FHS Varsity Service Letter, as well as national awards through the United Nations Association‑USA, thanks to our program’s exceptional student achievements.

Make your mark locally & globally. Our work doesn’t just impact Farmington. By supporting United Nations Global Goals like Good Health & Well-Being and Sustainable Cities & Communities, you’ll see how your service connects to bigger change.

 

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

  1. Apply Online: Click here to start your Tigers SERVE application.
  2. Find Opportunities: Join our Schoology group (group code: KBB6W-BM65M) to see new volunteer opportunities posted bi-weekly as well as committee meeting invites and updates.
  3. Track Your Hours: Log your service via InnerView to track and verify hours, and build a comprehensive service portfolio. Join our InnerView page to see opportunities and start tracking hours!
  4. Earn Recognition: Tigers SERVE is an authorizer of the FHS Varsity Service Letter and the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. Youth who track their hours with Tigers SERVE are eligible to earn a Varsity Letter and National Community Service Awards depending on their level of service.
  5. Grow From Your Experience: We’ll help you reflect on what you’ve done, what you’ve learned, and where you want to go next!
