Scholarships for Wee Tigers Preschool/ School Readiness Program
School Readiness is a public school early childhood program that provides early childhood education opportunities and parent support to children who are at least 3 years old by September 1 of the current school year and not yet in kindergarten that meet a variety of risk factors.
What is an Early Learning Scholarship?
An Early Learning Scholarship can help you pay for high-quality child care and early education to help your child get ready for school. A scholarship must be used at a Parent Aware-Rated program. Parent Aware is a rating tool to help parents select high-quality child care and early education programs.
What is Pathway I Early Learning Scholarship?
Pathway I scholarships are awarded directly to families who meet eligibility requirements. Pathway I scholarship funds are paid to the early childhood program that the family chooses. You may use your Pathway I Early Learning Scholarship at any eligible child care or early education program in Minnesota that is participating in Parent Aware. Pathway I scholarships “follow the child” and are awarded to the family for up to 12 months.

What is Pathway II early learning scholarship?
Pathway II scholarships are awarded to families through Four-Star Parent Aware Rated programs that have Pathway II funding. These include Head Start, school district prekindergarten and preschool programs, and child care programs. Programs participating as a Pathway II scholarship administrator receive Pathway II scholarship funds for up to 12 months.

Partial and full scholarships are offered on a need based and first come first served basis to families who reside in the Farmington school district. Placements are according to child and family needs and available openings. We will do our best to enroll your child, but space and funds are limited. Children and families with the greatest need as determined by risk factor assessment have the highest priority for enrollment.
**Children DO need to be toilet trained and tend to their toileting needs independently.
**Busing is not provided: parents are responsible for dropping off and picking up their children from school.
